We are implementing a new Fraud Prevention system. From now on, every customer will have a 4-Digit Pass Word (PW) assigned to them, WHEN THEY PURCHASE OR RECHARGE the next time.
The way it will work is whenever a customer makes a Purchase or Recharge the next time, they will be assigned a 4-Digit PW.
This PW will be sent to them in the SMS confirmation that they get when they recharge their phone number.
They will have to enter the PW when the dial any destination country for the 1st time. Once the call is successful, the system will store that country as a white-listed or “safe” country. Next time for any calls made by the same customer to the same country, will not require a PW. If the customer attempts calls to another country, then they will be asked for the PW once more & same process will follow.
PW will be asked off any customer to call any particular country only once.
If they do not have the PW for whatsoever reason, they will have an option to request the PW by SMS — or to connect to Customer Service who can reset the PW & have it sent by SMS.
NOTE: This will not affect the customers’ use of services till they recharge the next time.
